JLG Celebrates 25th Anniversary
In September of 1984, Ralph Gorton opened Just Looking Gallery in the Mission Mall in downtown San Luis Obispo. Now celebrating its 25th Anniversary, the gallery has established itself as one of the premier galleries in the country. A limited-edition commemorative t-shirt is available, and a featured article appeared in the October 5th Sunday edition of The Tribune.
New Original Works by Manuel Nùñez
Artist Manuel Nùñez has recently completed several new mixed media originals on paper available exclusively at Just Looking Gallery. Beautifully rendered women reminiscent of the art deco period are being executed in a monochromatic pallette. Tim Huhn Creates Public Mural in Downtown San Luis Obispo
From December 2007 to April 2008 Tim Huhn created a public mural in Downtown San Luis Obispo. Working from pencil sketches and photographs of Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, Tim created a pair of mural paintings that transformed the front facade of the Historic Mission Mall Building measuring 8' x 44'. In June of 2008 the Obispo Beautiful Association will be recognizing Tim Huhn's mural as the top Artistic Contribution to the City of San Luis Obispo for 2008. More on artist Tim Huhn »
