Battle of the Salons at Native Lounge – June 24, 2009
Native Lounge in Downtown San Luis Obispo is the host to Battle of the Salons, where local salons compete on the runway for the title of "Top Salon". James Armstrong One-Man Show – December 6, 2008
Just Looking Gallery hosted an opening for world-reknowned California painter James Armstrong on Saturday, December 6, 2008 from 6-9pm. The show was open to the public, displaying more than 50 plein-air regional landscapes executed in oil on canvas and masonite. Manuel Nùñez Reception – May 31, 2008
Saturday, May 31, 2008 – A unique dinner reception show for Manuel Nùñez was held by invite only. Over 35 guests sat down with Manuel Nùñez at Novo Restaurant in Downtown San Luis Obispo for two hours. After enjoying great food and wine, the guests were treated to a private showing of 20 originals at Just Looking Gallery. We can report that everyone was delighted with the outcome! Ronald Ray Rogers Reception – December 1, 2007
Saturday, December 1, 2007 – Just Looking Gallery was the host of a one man show featuring approximately 35 original oil paintings by Ron Rogers. After visiting Chimay, Belgium earlier in the Summer, Ron was inspired to create a body of original work that captured the unique and timeless beauty of Chimay. Patrick Nagel Retrospective – September 1, 2007
In September of 2007, JLG hosted the first and only retrospective on the original works of the great Patrick Nagel, best known for his work in Playboy magazine and his "Nagel women" that made him a worldwide icon of pop art in the 1980's.
