About the Artist
Inspired by the Art Deco era of the 1930’s, Nicholas Cochiolo has developed a body of work, which represents the mental and physical achievements of mankind. These achievements can still be seen in the ingenuity of the Empire State Building, the determination of the Golden Gate Bridge and the strength of the Hoover Dam. As a contemporary artist Nicholas Cochiolo has developed a series of eight plaster relief wall appliqués, enhanced with 24 kt. gold paint and a clear varnish. These pieces have both interior and exterior application. These unique pieces are done in an edition of 100-hand cast, signed and numbered by the artist.
