About the Artist
With 35 years of experience in working with ceramics, Andrew Van Assche has developed a design style that is unique to his body of work. Using slab built stoneware clay to create the structural forms, he then applies color and design to each piece with the use of slips and underglazes. His enigmatic ceramic structures can be both non-functional and functional.
